Why is Parents' Club Important to Our School Children?
Parents' Club is active in the following activities: the accelerated reading program including prizes and end of the year parties, Spelling Bee, Geography Bee, Safety Patrol, Santa Secret Shop, Scrips, Scholastic Book Fair, School Carnival, Teacher Appreciation Week, classroom holiday parties, Box Tops for Education, end of the year awards, Teacher Requests, including learning materials for the classroom and classroom activities, School Assemblies, library books, computer software & equipment, and many other miscellaneous things that come up throughout the school year.
How Can I Get Involved?
Come to the meetings! Parents' Club meetings are the first Tuesday of the month beginning September 6th. Meetings are held from 6:00 - 7:00 pm in the school library, and free childcare is provided. We encourage all parents to attend.
Help with events! There are sign-up sheets at school registration for the various volunteers needed, including room parents for class parties and events that Parents' Club coordinates. You will also be reminded throughout the year as events occur and be informed of ways you can contribute.
